WESTEC 2017 tech manufacturing event returns to Los Angeles September 12 – 14, 2017.
California is one of the key leaders in technology manufacturing and as of 2015, there were over 35,000 manufacturing companies in California. 1.3 million workers in the tech manufacturing sectors and an accumulation of more than $75 billion worth of exports in 2016 originating from tech manufacturing alone.
A new installment to the exhibitions at WESTEC 2017 will be the Smart Manufacturing Hub, a whole floor dedicated to teaching attendees skills through seminars, workshops, and presentations.
As technology continues to advance all over the world, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the Association of Manufacturing Technology (AMT) decided to join services to gather great technological minds in California.
From September 12 – 14, 2017 WESTEC 2017 will return to Los Angeles with more than ever to experience.
The expo duration is 2 days and packed with a full schedule of keynote presentations, panel discussions, seminars and networking opportunities all while showcasing the latest in manufacturing technologies and applications.
If you are unaware, WESTEC is the largest convention on the west coast where companies and experts in tech manufacturing sector to come together and share ideas, showcase new innovations and achievements.

This year, advancements in technology manufacturing have proven to thrive, from 3D printed shoes to the first 3D printed electric car, both of which will be presented at the event.
Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, this event has more than one reason to attend.
Advancements showcased will include a plethora of medical engineering, aerospace, machinery tools, metrology, software, waterjet technology, and a variety of miscellaneous goods.
The main focus of WESTEC 2017 is to engage the technology and manufacturing communities through educational collaboration.
